PointerPause is designed to do one small job locally on your Mac.
What PointerPause observes
PointerPause observes the occurrence and timing of key-down events so it can briefly suppress pointer input. It does not inspect the key value or determine what character was typed.
What PointerPause suppresses
During the recovery interval, PointerPause suppresses pointer movement, clicks, dragging, and scrolling. This applies to connected pointing devices, including trackpads and external mice.
Data collection
PointerPause does not collect, store, transmit, or sell typed text, key codes, pointer-event contents, usage analytics, or personal information. The application contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, crash-uploading, account, or networking functionality.
Preferences
Your enabled state, recovery delay, permission-callout preference, and launch-at-login setting remain on your Mac using Apple system storage and services.
Website
This policy describes the PointerPause application. If the website later adds purchasing or support services, this policy will be updated before those services launch.
